In-Bed Scales

In-Bed scales are an invaluable aid that are used in hospitals for weighing bed-bound patients. Patients can be comfortably weighed from the bed to the scale on the reliable, flame-retardant stretcher that is gently lowered to the bed level. DETECTO’s hydraulic lift mechanism adds safety and assurance for the raising and lowering of the stretcher to meet the patient’s bed height. The high-quality, heavy duty base design is easy to transport via integral wheels from patient rooms to storage rooms, and the wide bases add extra stability when the patient is being weighed. DETECTO’s high-performance digital indicators can subtract the weight of bedding, interface with the hospital’s computer system, and easily transfer patient data when extra care is needed to tend to the bed-bound patient. DETECTO’s in-bed scales feature patient maximum capacities of either 550 lbs or 800 lbs, so virtually any patient can be reliably weighed with this in-bed scale technology. DETECTO’s in-bed scales are also designed to fit through standard doorways easily, despite the heavy-duty frame design.

They feature locking casters, adjustable weighing arm, and sturdy steel construction. The model IB800 features base widening stance for added stability. The ZERO key allows staff to easily subtract the weight of bedding for accurate patient measurement. Six AA alkaline batteries (not included) or optional AC adapter. Not for transport. EMR/EHR ready. 800 lb x 0.2 lb / 350 kg x 0.1 kg capacity.
