Cardinal Scale manufactures several diagnostic tools for our authorized scale dealer technicians to assess and diagnose their customer's scales during service calls. Cardinal Scale’s iCan diagnostic tool is an analog-to-digital load cell junction box for new or pre-existing truck scales. iCan provides real-time diagnostics and identifies load cell problems before they cause inaccurate weighing, so scale downtime is minimized. Additionally, Cardinal Scale's iSite software provides remote monitoring for the iCan system via modem or network connections, so scale diagnostics can be assessed from any location. iSite is a particularly potent tool when coupled with ARMOR truck scales, since dealers can view truck scale issues from a PC, phone, or tablet. The NEST diagnostic toolkit provides fast, accurate, and ultra-portable truck scale diagnostics for truck scale dealers. The NEST can expediently view individual load cell readings and check the home run cable and load cell cables connections. NEST also displays millivolts and pounds readings for up to 12 load cells.

ICAN Intelligent J-Box

Cardinal’s diagnostic and monitoring system, iCan offers analog to digital conversion system for all analog load cell systems, new or retrofit. Real-time load cell diagnostics identifies load cell problems before they cause inaccurate weighing, so scale downtime is minimized. iCan works with any analog load cell; you’re not tied to a single source! Each iCan junction box supports up to eight load cells. For ten or more cells, interconnecting cable will be provided. NTEP legal-for-trade certified.

NEST - Network Enabled Scale Tool

Cardinal Scale’s NEST provides fast, accurate, and ultra-portable truck scale diagnostics. Quickly view individual load cell readings and check the home run and weight indicator connections. NEST plugs directly into the trim board of a Cardinal truck scale universal section seal trim box and displays millivolts and pounds readings for up to 12 load cells and the reading from the junction box summing circuitry. Unique to the weighing industry, NEST provides a service technician the toolkit to see where a scale’s potential issues may exist within seconds. There are three display modes: signals display, minimum-maximum display, and signals minus zero.
