CLASS OUTLINE:

1.) Overview of load cell theory and design. Simple hands-on introduction to how load cells work and the correct way to check a load cell in the field.

2.) Basic truck scale troubleshooting in a step-by-step approach to help new technicians be able to find and fix normal truck scale problems.

3.) ARMOR truck scales with Guardian hydraulic load cells hands-on training covering how to correctly install the scale, bleed the system and correctly gauge the cells. We cover how to correctly troubleshoot and change transducers in the field as well as normal calibration and maintenance items.

4.) Cardinal 200 series indicators focusing on the 225’s truck storage, setpoints, batching, and digital fill control.

5.) New ARMOR truck scale with SmartCell digital load cells: weighbridge design, installation, calibration, and trouble-shooting.

6.) NEST diagnostics system for analog and digital truck scales.

7.) Connection and setup of peripheral devices including scoreboards, printers, and computers.
